Stamford, Connecticut, USA - The Cardinal Kung Foundation, an advocate of the underground Roman Catholic Church in China, reports that Bishop Julias Jia Zhiguo, Bishop of Zhengding, Hebei, was arrested in the last few days. Before his arrest, Bishop Jia was notified by the Chinese authority that he would be taken away during the visit of President Clinton to China. No other details.
